Position Overview

‘SCAFFEX’ Manager involves the creative management of the exhibition and conference space, sale of exhibition space, sponsorship opportunities, client relationships, and ensuring successful execution of SCAFFEX to set targets and budgets. You will work closely with internal NASC teams and external clients to deliver exceptional event experiences that meet and exceed client expectations.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Sales and Business Development: To sell ScaffEx event space and sponsorship opportunities. Developing and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue goals. Conduct sales calls, presentations, and site visits to prospective clients. Build and maintain strong client relationships utilising the NASC CRM.
  2. Legal: To issue and maintain strong contract management of all sales and ensure revenues contracted are managed through to receipt of funds where necessary.
  3. Client Relations: Collaborate with members, stakeholders, members’ client to understand their Scaffex objectives and requirements. Serve as a point of contact for clients throughout
    the event planning and execution process. Provide exceptional customer service and address any issues or concerns promptly. Ensure client satisfaction at the event, gather feedback for
    continuous improvement, and ensure repeat business and referrals.
  4. Marketing and Promotion: Work with the marketing team to develop promotional materials and campaigns to ensure a high footfall and returning exhibitor and sponsors. Attend
    industry events, trade shows, and networking functions to promote ScaffEx. Utilise social media and digital marketing strategies to increase event sales.
  5. Reporting and Analysis: Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and event details. Generate regular sales and performance reports for senior management.
    Analyse sales data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.

About You

  • Proven experience in event sales, event planning, or a related role.
  • Demonstrated success in achieving sales targets.
  • Strong sales, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
