The popular, user-friendly Construction Industry Scaffolders Record Scheme (CISRS) CAP 609 General Information Booklet has been revised, reprinted and is ready for release.

NASC Council has nominated Wayne Connolly of Connolly Scaffolding Ltd as its next Vice President. Wayne’s appointment will be officially confirmed at the NASC AGM in November, at which the current NASC President Lynn Way of Chris Sedgeman Scaffolding Ltd will be succeeded by Vice President David Brown of IBN Scaffold Access Ltd.
The NASC has significantly strengthened its in-house scaffolding expertise through the appointment of Steve Kearney as H&S Manager.
The NASC’s involvement in the development of a European minimum standard for scaffold inspection was lauded at the Scaffolding Access Industry Association (SAIA) Convention & Exposition in Boston, USA.
Congratulations are due to Lydia Chard, Business Development Manager at NASC member company Star Scaffolding Ltd, who has been short-listed for an award as part of the NFB Top 100 Most Influential Women in Construction 2022 Awards.
Further to a recent vote by NASC Council members, nominations from small, medium, and large full member representatives on NASC Council will be put forward for formal ratification at the NASC AGM in London on 18 November 2022.
