A well-established document that proved to still be robust and valid. This revised guidance focuses on the management of manual handling and includes the Health & Safety Executive (HSE) Manual handling assessment charts (MAC tool) – helps assess the risks posed by lifting, carrying and team manual handling activities. The MAC tool also assists the assessor to understand, interpret and categorise the level of risk of the various known risk factors associated with these activities. It also has a numerical and colour coding score system to highlight high-risk manual handling tasks. An example of Manual Handling Risk Assessment form is included. 16 pages.
