As a main sponsor of the event, NASC showcased its ongoing commitment to the military and address the recruitment crisis in the construction sector. Its involvement in the Military 2 Construction program, a collaborative initiative between BFRS and NASC, aims to guide and support veterans leaving the forces, as they transition into fulfilling civilian careers, providing them with invaluable guidance, confidence, and access to potential employers.

Joining the NASC team at the career fair were NASC members, Alltask Limited and SRK Scaffolding. Jim Scott, Head of Trainee Recruitment and Development at Alltask Limited, and Andy Peake, Project Surveyor of SRK Scaffolding, demonstrated their support for the NASC M2C program. Jim, who formerly served in the army, expressed his understanding of the challenges veterans face in transitioning to civilian careers, highlighting the NASC M2C program as a vital source of support; “The NASC M2C program is exactly the kind of guidance and confidence veterans need to partner with potential employers.
