The Stewart Milne Group is one of the UK’s leading independent builders with a reputation for quality, excellence in customer care and innovation. Our innovative approach has lead us to being the first UK builder to design, develop and build the UK’s first five star carbon neutral home, The Sigma Home. We were the lead developer on the government backed AIMC4 project, leading the way to developing low energy low carbon homes for the future. Originally established in 1975, with just 6 employees, today the Stewart Milne Group regularly employs over 600. From our head office in Aberdeen, we now have offices in Manchester, Edinburgh and Glasgow. We are now actively widening our approach to specifically focus on Modern Methods of Construction MMC and Off-Site Manufacture OSM, with examples such as the provision and installation of pre-fitted windows and the use of crane to erect.
