This guidance outlines how employers should complete their risk assessments as required by the Management of Health and Safety at Work Regulations. As employers you must carry out an assessment to identify the hazards, evaluate the risks to employees and identify any control measures which should be implemented. 16 pages
Initially there is no structure in place against which the scaffold can be tied. The scaffold may surround a structure, but it is still vital that measures to ensure stability are incorporated. Employers are responsible for establishing an inspection regime for the inspection of fall protection equipment that is produced and implemented by a competent person. A Register of equipment should be compiled for use in managing the inspection regime.
