This represents a revolution for system scaffolding, which will now achieve the same level of support as tube and fitting within the NASC ePortal.
All ePortal subscribers get free access to the TG30:24 Operational Guide, Design Guide and eGuide until 31st August 2025, allowing you to produce system scaffolding compliance sheets. TG30 will incorporate main manufacturers from June 2025, while a generic engineering calculation is available at launch to support your compliance needs.

The TG20 and TG30 eGuides are the NASC’s digital tools available through the NASC ePortal. TG20 covers tube and fitting scaffolding, while TG30 focuses on system scaffolding. Both guides provide essential compliance tools, design guidance, and operational support for scaffolding contractors, ensuring adherence to the NASC’s rigorous safety standards and UK legislation.
The TG30:24 release allows providers of system scaffolding to demonstrate compliance as TG20:21 did for tube and fitting scaffolding. The TG30 eGuide includes a phased rollout of the TG30 Operational and Design Guides from November 2024 to September 2025, gradually introducing features like independent scaffolding, tied tower scaffolding, stair towers, and mobile towers. The full, finalized guides will be available in both online and print formats by September 2025.

TG30 is made up of over 15 different types of system scaffolding and the NASC has decided to prioritise certain features into the following phased process:

Other elements will be added as they are completed. such as the option to add sheeting to a design. These have been prioritised based on how well-requested the feature was during our experience of creating the TG20 eGuide. Please be patient as we deliver an ever-improving product.
