Notes to Editors:
NASC is the national trade body for access and scaffolding in the UK – established 1945 and now serving a family of 600+ leading contracting firms, scaffolding suppliers, manufacturers, and clients representing 80% of the scaffolding pound based on 2021 ONS results.

The Confederation produces a wide range of industry-recognised safety and technical guidance for scaffolding contractors, their operatives, and their clients – accepted as the industry standard by HSE, Build UK, NFB, CITB & principal contractors alike.

NASC members are audited before and during their membership – to a set of demanding criteria – ensuring the highest possible standards are met, confirming to our NASC Membership Criteria, and the Code of Practice for scaffolding products. Any failings because of not adhering to the standards of membership will result in the disciplinary process being invoked, with potential expulsion. It’s these high standards of our members’ access solutions that are recognised by construction industry leaders, who continue to stipulate that it must be NASC companies for access and scaffolding.
