Tackling the Recruitment Crisis

The scaffolding industry is currently facing a recruitment crisis, with many companies struggling to attract younger people to the industry. This is why NASC is developing a range of talent solutions to help its members attract and retain talent. Coming this Spring, NASC will be launching its arsenal of Talent Solutions Programmes for NASC members, including

  • New Talent Portal: This dynamic platform will connect members directly with qualifying candidates and experienced recruiters, eliminating the time-consuming burden of traditional recruitment methods. The portal will also provide up-to-date info on key industry recruitment events and the ability to request the resources members need to attend these events. See below for details.
  • Talent packs: These will provide NASC members with information about the industry, career options, benefits and training opportunities
  • Recruitment Event Resources: Packs, equipping members with all the resources they need to attend recruitment events
  • Training and Development Programme: Equipping members with resources and tools to create a positive and rewarding work environment, including access to training and development programs, competitive compensation packages, and opportunities for career advancement.

NASC is confident that its Talent Solution Programmes will empower members, creating a robust and sustainable talent pipeline to secure the future of the scaffolding industry. NASC is committed to providing its members with the tools and resources they need to attract, retain, and develop top talent.

BuildUK Open Doors is a fantastic opportunity for NASC members to showcase the industry to young people and encourage them to consider a career in scaffolding. By working together, NASC and its members can help to address the recruitment crisis and ensure that the scaffolding industry has a bright future.

We encourage all NASC members to get involved in BuildUK Open Doors 2024. This is a great opportunity to make a difference and help to secure the future of our industry.
