National Access and Scaffolding Confederation (NASC) is proud to announce that it sponsored the Construction News (CN) Specialist Awards 2023, which took place on October 19, 2023 at the Grosvenor House Hotel in London. The awards celebrate the achievements and innovations of the specialist contractors in the UK construction industry.
NASC president, David Brown of IBN Scaffold Ltd, presented the winners of the Net-Zero Trailblazer category, which recognises the specialist contractors who are leading the way in reducing their carbon footprint and contributing to the net-zero agenda. The winners were GKR Scaffolding Ltd, who are also NASC members and were highly commended in the Access & Scaffolding Specialist of the Year category. David congratulated GKR Scaffolding Ltd for their outstanding performance and commitment to sustainability.
NASC also had a strong presence at the awards night, with several supporting contractor members in attendance. They were Phil Welman and James Clifford of JDC Scaffolding, Steve Fellows of Malvern Scaffolding Ltd, David Anderson of Allen and Foxworthy Ltd, Lydia Stanton of Star Scaffolding Ltd, and Alan Harris of Pro Fix Access Ltd. They enjoyed a night of networking, entertainment, and celebration with their peers and colleagues.
