TG4:19 had amendments predominantly in relation to the orientation of ring bolts where current thinking is that settlement is probably greater than side wind loads so reduces potential shear loads on the bolt. Other minor changes were cosmetic. A recent update in April 2019 saw the removal of one reference only when the guidance was reissued as TG4:19.

In an ideal world all working platforms should contain no gaps or holes. This updated guidance is a simplification of the previous 2003 issue regarding working platforms, which have additional requirements over those that are normally provided on an access scaffold. Quality and the thickness of ply used are integral.
An A4 full-colour, brand new, 224-page guide containing detailed practical guidance for most common types of scaffolding supported by structural research and calculation. Guidance is provided for an expanded range of standard structures which includes independent scaffolding, interior birdcages, chimney stack scaffolds, loading bays, ladder-access towers, free-standing towers, lift shaft towers and putlog scaffolding. A range of TG20 ‘compliance sheets’ is included for these structures. (Price shown includes £6 Postage & Packaging)
A 32-page, full-colour pocket guide in A6 format. This document summarises clearly the requirements for TG20 compliant scaffolding and offers indispensable guidance to the scaffolding operative on-site.
