Marketing Manager

As our Marketing Manager, you’ll be responsible for all our marketing initiatives, transforming strategic objectives into campaigns with impact. You’ll work across a variety of channels, ensuring messaging is clear, consistent and compelling. This is your chance to leave your mark in an industry that is integral to sectors as diverse as construction and infrastructure, entertainment and aviation.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Strategy & Leadership
    • Deliver effective marketing plans aligned with NASC’s objectives and business strategy.
    • Lead and motivate the marketing team, ensuring operational plans are executed effectively.
  2. Campaign Management
    • Develop and deliver multi-channel marketing campaigns, including email, social media, digital advertising and events.
    • Use tools such as Salesforce, DotDigital and Google Analytics to track and refine campaigns.
  3. Content & Communication
    • Maintain a content calendar, write, edit and proof marketing materials including e-newsletters, press releases, and brochures.
    • Engage with external agencies to ensure high-quality, consistent messaging.
  4. Public Relations
    • Build and maintain relationships with media outlets.
    • Draft and distribute press releases, ensuring industry coverage and visibility.
  5. Events & Publications
    • Support the planning and promotion of NASC events and trade shows.
    • Manage the production of key publications, such as the NASC Yearbook and Safety Report.
    • Oversee production of our monthly magazine, Scaffolding Insider, working closely with writers, editors and designers.
  6. Website Management
    • Ensure the NASC website remains current and stakeholder-focused.
Key Qualifications and Experience Required
  • Experience: A minimum of three years in marketing with a proven track record in campaign management and team leadership.
  • Skills:
    • Exceptional copywriting and communication skills.
    • Strategic and analytical mindset, combined with hands-on implementation expertise.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office and marketing tools such as DotDigital, WordPress, PPC platforms and SEO tools.
  • Personal Attributes:
    • Creative, with a keen eye for detail.
    • Highly organised and adaptable to changing priorities.
    • Collaborative team player with excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Qualifications: A degree in marketing is desirable but not essential.
