Layher brings scaffold innovation to life at Letchworth open morning
NASC Supplier Committee Chair and Layher UK Managing Director Sean Pike recently hosted a ‘Sizzle and Learn’ open morning at the company's Letchworth site in Hertfordshire, bringing together customers and industry contacts for a morning of live demonstrations, innovation showcases and networking.
The event drew strong attendance and generated excellent engagement throughout, with Layher using the occasion to reinforce its strategic partnership approach to customer relationships. Central to this is the company's four core values of Service, Support, Solutions and Supply, a framework that underpins how Layher delivers long-term value across its customer base.
The standout moment of the morning was a live demonstration of the SIM2Field XR App, a digital tool that brings scaffold designs to life through three-dimensional rendering and augmented reality integration. The demonstration gave attendees a first-hand look at how the technology works in practice, translating complex scaffold designs into real-world visualisations that can transform the way projects are planned, communicated and delivered on site.
The session also included a presentation on Layher's event system solutions, showcasing the flexibility, efficiency and proven performance that have made the company a trusted partner across a wide range of applications. The formal programme was followed by a relaxed networking session, giving attendees the opportunity to connect, share experiences and build on existing relationships in an informal setting.
Feedback from the day was extremely positive, with attendees responding warmly to both the content and the format. The success of the Letchworth morning has set the tone for two further open mornings already in the diary, with events planned at the Livingston Depot on 24 June and the Eggborough Depot on 21 July.
