NASC will be attending The Health and Safety Event at the NEC Birmingham from 28 to 30 April 2026, one of the most significant dates in the UK's workplace safety calendar.

Now returning bigger than ever, the event is the UK's largest showcase dedicated to improving occupational health and safety standards, bringing together more than 14,500 health and safety professionals alongside 400 plus exhibitors, regulators and thought leaders. Running across three days in Hall 3 at the NEC, it is an event that sits at the heart of the health and safety community and one that NASC is proud to be part of.

For the scaffolding and access sector, events like this matter. Safety is not a peripheral concern for our industry; it is fundamental to everything we do. Attending gives NASC the opportunity to engage directly with the wider health and safety community, raise the profile of the scaffolding and access sector and reinforce the importance of the standards and guidance that underpin safe working at height across the UK.

Phil Goddard, Business Development Manager at NASC, will be attending across the three days and is looking forward to connecting with both existing contacts and new faces.

Phil commented: "The Health and Safety Event is a great opportunity for us to engage with health and safety professionals from right across the industry," he says. "If you are attending and would like to find out more about NASC membership, our guidance or anything else we do, please do come and find us. We'll have our famous Buzz van, so you won't be able to miss us and plenty of goodies to make sure you don't want to."

Beyond the exhibition floor, attendees will have access to more than 60 hours of free CPD-accredited content across seven theatres, covering everything from regulation and enforcement priorities to driver safety, lone worker wellbeing and practical compliance.

The event is co-located with The Security Event, The Fire Safety Event, The Workplace Event and the National Cyber Security Show, all accessible with a single pass.

Attendance at the event is free, with opening times of 10am to 4.30pm on Tuesday 28 and Wednesday 29 April, and 10am to 3.30pm on Thursday 30 April.
