Tickets now on sale for the 2026 Scaffolding Excellence Awards
Tickets and tables for the 2026 Scaffolding Excellence Awards evening are now on sale, with the event taking place on Friday 11 September in Manchester as part of ScaffEx26.
The annual awards night is one of the most anticipated events in the scaffolding calendar, bringing together contractors, suppliers, manufacturers, training providers and industry figures for an evening of celebration and recognition. This year's gala will be hosted by comedian and broadcaster Dara Ó Briain, best known for Mock the Week, Blockbusters, Robot Wars and Stargazing Live.
The 2026 awards feature the same nine categories as last year, celebrating excellence across projects, design, products, services, apprenticeships and long-term contribution to the industry. One change has been made for this year. The ‘Apprentice of the Year’ Award has been renamed the ‘Wayne Connolly Apprentice of the Year’ Award, in honour of our former NASC President and CISRS Chairman, who passed away in December 2025. It is a fitting tribute to someone who gave so much to the industry.
Judging will be chaired by Dr James MacFadden, Senior Responsible CSA Engineer at Sellafield, who commented:
“We saw an exceptional standard of entries in 2025, with brilliant examples of innovation, project delivery, leadership and collaboration across the sector. I am looking forward to seeing how the industry continues to raise the bar in 2026. These awards are an important way to recognise hard work and professionalism that often goes unseen.
“Once again, I am pleased to be chairing a panel of leading experts from across the industry who all bring different expertise and experience to the process.”
Tickets and tables can be purchased now via the link below. Places are expected to sell fast so book early to avoid disappointment.
