NASC and KTEA sign MOU to strengthen international cooperation
NASC has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Korean Temporary Equipment & Engineering Association (KTEA), marking a further step in efforts to strengthen international cooperation and raise standards across the global scaffolding and access industry.
The agreement was signed at ScaffEx26 in Manchester by NASC Group CEO Clive Dickin. The MOU establishes a framework for closer cooperation between the two organisations, with a focus on sharing knowledge, expertise and best practice and exploring opportunities to support the continued development of high standards in scaffolding and access.
The agreement builds on the relationship between NASC and KTEA developed through the International Access and Scaffolding Association (IASA), of which both organisations are members.
KTEA joined IASA in 2026, adding South Korea to the growing international network of national scaffolding and access associations working together to improve safety, professionalism and standards across the industry.
Clive Dickin, Group CEO of NASC and CISRS, said:

Scaffolding and access is an international industry. The equipment, skills and increasingly the workforce cross borders, so there is a real benefit in national associations working more closely together, sharing knowledge and learning from one another.
“Our relationship with KTEA has already developed through its involvement with the international association IASA, and this agreement gives us an opportunity to build on that relationship directly.
“It is also a clear indication of NASC’s commitment to the globalisation of quality standards in scaffolding and access. We want to work with respected organisations around the world to encourage greater consistency, improve safety and promote the highest standards wherever scaffolding is designed, supplied or erected.”
The signing took place during ScaffEx26 at Manchester Central, which brought together contractors, suppliers, manufacturers, training providers and industry organisations from the UK and overseas.
The MOU forms part of NASC’s wider programme of international engagement and its commitment to developing closer links with scaffolding and access organisations around the world.
