We recently met with Logistics UK (formerly Freight Transport Association) as part of a review of the benefits of Gold Associate Membership to understand the return on the significant investment of NASC members funds. The underwhelming percentage of full members visiting Logistics UK website for information was below 50%, and only 1% of members had purchased a Tachograph subscription provided by Logistics UK at the discounted member’s rate.
NASC does not believe this constitutes a ROI or a benefit for its members, so accordingly the decision to not renew Gold Associate Membership was made with immediate effect.
Logistics UK have agreed to honour those members who paid for a subscription service that they will maintain their discounted rate until the end of the subscription period.
NASC continues to hold free Trade Association membership with Logistics UK and will be sharing relevant transport news with members via the NASC eNewsletter and Scaffolding Insider magazine.
