Sean Doyle Scaffolding signs up to the NASC Work Experience Pledge
Sean Doyle Scaffolding has pledged two work experience placements through the NASC Work Experience Pledge, adding to the growing number of NASC members stepping up to help tackle the industry's skills shortage.
The St Albans and Alton-based contractor has been delivering professional scaffolding services since 1987, working across residential, commercial, restoration and street works projects.
The NASC Work Experience Pledge, delivered in partnership with the Department for Work and Pensions, is aiming to create 5,000 work experience opportunities across the scaffolding and access sector by the end of 2026. The goal is straightforward; get more young people through the door, show them what the industry actually involves and give them a real route into a skilled, well-paid career.
Charlie Killick-Dowsett, Health & Safety Advisor at Sean Doyle Scaffolding, commented: "We really do care about where this industry is heading and work experience is one of the best ways of showing young people what scaffolding really is.
“We are pleased to be part of the NASC work experience pledge and look forward to welcoming our candidates."
